Real Estate NewsPier Rules Heads UpUnder the new pier rules, owners of properties with piers have until April 1, 2011 to register their piers with the Wisconsin DNR. Only those owners with piers that qualify for the grand fathering rules should register. Those whose piers do not qualify based on the new rules that were passed last year have two options. They may try to register, although it is unlikely their registration will be approved, or they may modify their piers to comply before registering.
